(August 20, 2021) – Myka Labs, a start-up pioneering new approaches to treating high-unmet-need conditions based on multimodal sensor fusion navigation technology, has been named as the recipient of the 2021 UCSF-Benioff Children’s Hospital Award. The award was announced by the Stanford-UCSF Pediatric Device Consortium, the organization that makes the annual award.

The award highlighted the remarkable advances by the Myka Labs team and its international group of collaborators in developing new, less invasive approaches to repairing esophageal atresia, a congenital condition where babies are born without a connection between the mouth and the stomach.
