CEOs of leading companies with products in pediatric and maternal health, including Dan Laser of Myka Labs, gathered at the Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign for a day of in-depth discussion around shared priorities.

At the event, hosted by Impact1, topics were wide-ranging, with regulatory policy an area of significant focus. The group formulated key framework elements for engagement with policymakers around pediatric and maternal health.

Participants also discussed growing opportunities to advance pediatric and maternal health within the setting of a high-growth, venture-backed startup. Myka’s pipeline of products built around its combination of advanced sensor technology and sophisticated real-time image analysis, including Connect for neonatal esophageal atresia the Conflux line of advanced systems for cancer patient care, were highlighted as an example of innovative products and technology spanning both pediatric and adult patient care.
