About Myka Labs

Myka Labs was founded with the goal of leveraging advances in artificial intelligence and advanced sensor systems for high-clinical-impact procedures in the abdomen. Central to the founding of the company was pioneering research that had been carried out at the University of California at San Francisco and a LMU Klinikum on a new types of magnetic anastomosis systems for repairing congenital malformations involving the esophagus and the windpipe. Using one of these next-generation MCA systems are used to repair the neonatal esophagus is an example of a rendezvous procedure--a key category in the Myka Labs product pipeline.

Early prototypes of Myka Labs navigation technologies are developed and transitioned into preclinical studies. At the same time, Connect-EA is successfully used in esophageal atresia repair for patients at Stanford, Vanderbilt and LMU Klinikum. The patients treated include patients with types A, B and C EA/TEF.

Myka sees multiple patent issuances, expands the core team and advisory board, in preparation for early product launches.
